Spring High Shines at District LDE Competition!
Julie Craig, Kandice Henry, Britni Hickey,and Courtney Davenport placed 7th in Sr. Quiz
Grace Armstrong, Amanda Hasty, Yilihany Morales-Clinton,
and Catherine Rutan placed 5th in Jr. Quiz
Tessa Galloway placed 1st in Job Interview
and moved on to Area in Brenham
Summer Froberg, Amber Wren, and Amy Gutowski
placed 1st in Farm Radio and moved on to Area in Brenham
Kelsi Cook, Joel Durden, Tessa Galloway, Harley Hicks, Chris Parent,
Thursey Wages, and Katie Wright
placed 2nd in Chapter Conducting and moved on to Area
Tristin Talley placed 5th in Sr. Creed
Catherine Rutan placed 1st in Jr. Creed , moved on to Area in Brenham
Chelsea Harden, Robert Hunter, Taylor Steinecke, and Katie Wright
placed 5th in Farm Skills
Spring FFA took 2nd in Sweepstakes
The kids worked hard and did a great job!
We were the only Spring ISD school to advance to Area
Klein Fall Classic Show (November '09)
Dillon Anders earned 1st place in his class and Reserve Champion
breed with his Limi Steer
Washington County Fair (September '09)
- Megan Southard Easter placed 2nd in her class of middle weight Maine ’s

- Meagan Southard participated in Grand and Reserve drive.
- Brice Easter place 3rd in the middle weight Brangus
- Dillon Anders showed steer as Chi placed 4th in one ring and 5th in the other
- Kelsi Cook placed 11th in the middle weight Limi’s and did a great job showing
- Jacob Cullen placed 11th in his class of middle weight Maine ’s
- Summer Froberg placed 12th in her class and did great job showing
